Where to Stay Near Killington Mountain
· by the owners of Trail Creek 74
Killington ski resort is a beast, sprawling across 5 base areas, each with their own parking setups and lodging offerings. During the peak season, parking involves a strategic assessment of weather, expected visitor volume, and operational updates.
Here we break down your options and provide local guidance.
Trail Creek
Trail Creek offers the closest true ski home lodging to Snowshed, Ramshead and K1 base. The prime setup at Trail Creek features a three-bedroom condo (two bedrooms + loft), sleeping up to six, with a full kitchen, wood-burning fireplace (free wood), two full bathrooms, living and dining room.
Staying at Trail Creek helps you avoid parking anxiety: a short walk or shuttle bus* gives you access to three base areas to start your day, each with their own lodge.
The Snowshed Express Quad is a 1/3 mile walk from Trail Creek and gives you access to the five peaks (officially six, counting Sunrise). Need passes? Grab them at one of the self-service kiosks. For ski-home access, shuttle service, and base lodge logistics, see our Skiing page.
Trail Creek is ideal for quick lunches and warm-ups back at your condo and Proximity to all that the Access Road has to offer.
